(At least 3 major Easter Celebrations have been scheduled)....Due to the pandemic, Easter Celebrations have been rather subdued.

That appears to be different this year. Easter Sunday is April 9th. Easter Celebrations will begin this Saturday, March 25th. The City of El Centro will be hosting their Easter Celebration at Bucklin Park. The Easter Egg hunt will include 10,000 colored eggs hidden  throughout the event area, It will begin at 5:00 pm and will include the egg hunt, games, face painting, a kids zone and several other activities, leading up to a movie in the park. The movie will be Puss In Boots, the Last Wish. On April 2nd, the Calipatria Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and a movie in the Park. It will be held at Rademacher Park beginning at 4:00 pm. The movie, Inside Out begins at 7 pm. Calexico will also host an Easter Celebration on April 8th at Crummett Park.
