The Frankie L. Chavez Foundation rescheduled the event for March 11. That is this Saturday. It is held at Hinajosa Park in Brawley. The Family event features Softball and Horseshoe tournaments, music and a BBQ. Plates are available at $12 each. The theme is Honoring the Past and Improving the Future.. The event raises scholarship funds in the name of the late Frankie L. Chavez. The scholarships are awarded to Seniors at Brawley and Calipatria High Schools. The event Saturday runs from 11 am to 4 pm.
