(Two Collisions about 12 hours apart)...The first one was reported at close to 6:30 Sunday evening.

A Big Rig on Highway 78 over-turned near Mitchells Camp. The California Highway Patrol responded to the call. They found the rig on the right hand shoulder of the Highway. No injuries were reported. At just after 6 Monday morning a vehicle traveling on Clarke Road collided with a Telephone Pole just west of Heber Road. The pole was leaning over, being held up by the wires. The roadway was closed until the pole could be replaced. The CHP says the occupants of the vehicle were out of the vehicle and walking around. Both incidents are under investigation.
