(Inspectors find something unique)...US Customs and Border Protection Agriculture Specialists made the find recently.

They were inspecting a load of fresh celery at the Otay Mesa Cargo Facility. During the inspection, they found a rare pest. They found one live chrysomelidae and one live lepidoptera within the shipment of celery. It was the first time these pests had been discovered crossing the international border at Otay Mesa. It was enough to send the entire shipment back to Mexico.. They say foreign pests can threaten US Agriculture and cannot be let into the Country.
