(Brawley Investigations Team executes a search warrant).....It happened at a residence in the 900 block of K Street in Brawley.

Detectives arrested 33 year old Jesus Steven Delacruz, who was wanted for a Post Release Community Supervision warrant. In addition to the warrant, the convicted felon was arrested for several firearm related charges and for sales of narcotics. Also arrested was 44 year old convicted felon John Manuel Romero from Whittier, California. He was arrested for weapon related offenses. Delacruz' bail was set at $130,000. Romero's bail was set at $10,000. The detectives used a Brawley Police Canine to search the residence. During the search they found several firearms, high-capacity magazines, ammunition and narcotics. The Detectives were assisted by US Border Patrol BORTAC, US Border Patrol Sector Inteeligence Unit, US Border Patrol Small Unmanned Aircraft system, Air and Marine Surveillance Operations, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
