The Imperial County Public Health Department reports that the number of active COVID-19 cases continues to drop.

The numbers released on Thursday show that there are 118 actives cases of the coronavirus in the Valley. That's down from 163 reported on Tuesday. The number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 has increased from 966 to 970. There have been 9.2 new cases of the virus per 100,000 population with a 10.5 per cent positivity rate. These numbers are also declining.
