A woman was arrested after her SUV got stuck on railroad tracks.
At about 11:45 p.m. Friday, El Centro police received a report of an SUV speeding through downtown streets. Just minutes later, there was a report that the vehicle was stuck on railroad tracks in the area of 3rd and State Streets. Union Pacific Railroad was notified and they were able to stop train traffic in the area. The driver, a 23-year-old woman, was cited and released for driving under the influence. The vehicle was impounded.
