(Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation)....They held their Annual Dinner in mid December.

It was held this year at La Resaca in El Centro. The IVEDC says the annual dinner gives them the opportunity to say thank you to their partners and investors who share their mission to improve the economy and create jobs in the Imperial Valley. Several awards were handed out at this year's event. The Volunteer of the Year award went to Buz Schott, IVEDC Board member and Consultant at Con Edison. The Project of the Year award went toindiedwell, a modular home manufacturing facility in Brawley that begins production in 2023. Partner of the Year was Imperial Valley College. Initiative of the Year award went to the Imperial Valley Business Resource Center. The Chairperson's award went to Sean Wilcock, Vice president of Business development at IVEDC. The Invester of the Year was One World Beef
