(Imperial Sand Dune Recreation Area Clean-up).....It will be the 25th anniversary of the clean-up.

The BLM and their partner L A N D S invite desert enthusiasts to come help keep the dunes clean and open for all to enjoy on Saturday January 14. This is a free pass weekend at the Imperial Sand Dune Recreation Area, Friday January 13 thru Monday January 16. Registration begins at 8:00 am at any of the 11 registration sites. Volunteers will trade their bags of trash for tickets. Lunch will be served at the main staging area. For more detailed information, call Charla Teeters at 760-791-1856.
