Don't expect a white Christmas in the imperial Valley.

While much of the nation is struggling with paralyzing winter storms, the Imperial Valley will have tranquil weather according to the National Weather Service. Expect high temperatures in the 75 to 80 degree range through Tuesday. Overnight lows are expected in the mid-40's. By Monday night there will be copious amounts of moisture coming off the Pacific bringing clouds and a 50 percent chance of showers by Tuesday night that will continue through the rest of the week.
