The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the Imperial Valley.
The warning is in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday. Expect temperatures to reach 105 to 109 degrees while overnight lows will be in the upper 70's to low 80's. Daily highs will start tending downward starting Wednesday into the weekend.
