(Man dies following bee attack)…Deputy Coroner Eric Frazier said the incident occurred Sunday. He said 40-year-old Mario Rosales and his father, who was not identified, were working in their yard in the 2000 block of Bowker Road. They apparently disturbed a beehive. They were both stung several times. Paramedics were called and they transported both men to El Centro Regional Medical Center. Rosales died in the emergency room. The father was treated and released from the hospital. Frazier said the family could not say if Rosales was allergic to bee stings. The Deputy Coroner said the type of bees involved is unknown. An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death is scheduled for Tuesday. |
