(Governor should pay more attention to neighbors)…..Legislators say the Governor travels all the way to China to better relations.
They say the least he could do is the same for Baja California. The legislators, led by State Senator Lou Correa of Anaheim and Assemblyman Travis Allen of Huntington Beach, are calling on the Governor to bring the state closer to the Mexican state. They say there are several issues the Governor could address with the Baja government, include border crossings, trade, etc. etc. They say border issues have long been ignored by the Governor. The group toured the US/Mexico border in San Ysidro, but did not travel to the Imperial County.
