Border air pollution

(The first Air Quality Alert was sent out at mid-night)…The Air Pollution Control District says the Air Quality Index for PM 2.5 had reached 146.

That translates into an Air Quality condition of Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups. By 9:00 am the levels had increased to 152, for a condition of Unhealthy for everyone.. PM 2.5 is a finite Particulate Matter created mainly from vehicle emissions. Sensitive Groups are the elderly and small children, as well as those with heart or respiratory disease.
