(Teachers approve new contract)…Central Union High School teachers recently voted to approve the new offer.
The contract still has to be ratified by the School Board, and double checked by the Imperial County Office of Education. Very little was changed in the contract from the last agreement. Under the new contract a committee will be formed to work on teacher evaluations and 3.5 percent will be trimmed from salary scheduled bonuses. Two other language changes were also approved by the teachers. The School Board is expected to discuss the contract at their next meeting.
