(The 13th annual fundraising event is set)....It is the Dancing with the Stars Gala.

It is presented by the Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program Community Foundation. This year's event is being held on Friday, May 13 at the Quechan Casino Resort, in the PIPA Ballroom, 525 Algodones Road near Winterhaven. The event is sold out. There are 7 local celebrity Stars competing in the event. The funds raised from the event go towards developing educational and econimc opportunities for youth and adults throughout the Imperial County, as well as scholarships for High School seniors.
