An El Centro man was stabbed in the hand Friday night.

According to El Centro police, the man was stabbed by his father following an argument. The victim sustained a laceration to his hand and possibly a broken finger. He was transported to the hospital while the father was transported to Imperial County Jail and booked on assault charges. A kitchen knife was the weapon used.
