A Thursday morning traffic stop in El Centro ended with a 41-year-old man in jail.

At about 10:45 Thursday morning El Centro Police stopped a car at 6th and State Streets. A K-9 Unit alerted to the car and after a search of the vehicle methamphetamine was found in the back seat. The driver was arrested and booked at Imperial County Jail on several charges including Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Drugs.
