The Imperial Irrigation District says scammers are passing out phone numbers. Customers are advised to call the number to recieve a discount on their power bills. The IID is advising customers to not call the number. They say instead, call 1-800-303-7756. Customer service representatives will offer comprehensive information about the various assistance programs available.
