El Centro Police responded to the 200 block of W. Orange Avenue late Wednesday afternoon after receiving a report of a man with a gun.

Initial reports indicated that the man had a gun in his back pocket and then dropped it on the floor. On arrival, officers detained a 43-year-old man and a check indicated that there was an outstanding felony bench warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into Imperial Cunty Jail for the warrant.
