Athletic fields at Heber Elementary School will be upgraded.

The school has received a donation of over $250,000 from the Miracles and Dreams Foundation , the McGuire Brothers and AVAGROW, to revamp the schools athletic fields. The school athletic field is 3 acres and is used by the school as well as a primary practice field for several local soccer and baseball teams.

Heber Elementary School Board member Tony Sandoval said that the donation would ensure that Heber students have safe and engaging spaces to play. The improvement project will begin Monday, July 24 and is expected to take about 3 weeks.

The McGuire Brothers a successful bail bonds company and according to one of the brothers, Cesar McGuire, they have a strong passion for "paying it forward".

AVAGROW, a Riverside-based company, specializes in environmental sustainability and water conservation.

The Miracles and Dreams Foundation is based in Riverside and has a stated aim to inspire hope and overall well-being to local youth.
