Saturday is the City of Calipatria Community Cleanup Day.

It's a chance for Calipat residents to get rid of old furniture, mattresses, yard waste, large appliances even televisions, computers and other e-waste. Calipatria residents can drop off these items at 525 S. Sorenson from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. There is no charge.
