(They began setting up Thursday night)….They were more than ready when the first Farm Workers began arriving.
Volunteers for the 34th Annual Farm Workers Breakfast were more than pleased with the turnout. Beginning some time between 1:30 and 2:00 am Friday morning Farm Workers were treated to a full tamale breakfast, including a nice warm cup of coffee. Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors Ray Castillo sang for the gathering, along with other live entertainment. Their was dancing and information for the field workers. All to show how grateful the organizers are for what the Farm Workers do for the Imperial County economy.
