Polar Bears at San Diego Zoo Undergo Hearing Study

Researchers from the San Diego Zoo's center for Conservation and Research for Endangered Species (CRES) are currently collecting data to determine the hearing sensitivity of polar bears, a fundamental aspect of the bears' biology that is currently unknown.

(The Energy Cost Adjustment is going down, slightly)....The E.C.A., which appears on energy customers monthly bill is a share of the cost to purchase the fuel to create the energy used. The Imperial Irrigation District staff is working on a way to reduce the ECA and not lose money.

NAU Yuma - Names Associate Vice President & Campus Executive Officer

Northern Arizona University President John Haeger has named Krista Rodin as Associate Vice President and Campus Executive Officer at NAU-Yuma. Rodin, who serves as vice provost for University Outreach at the University of Connecticut, assumes her new position the first of January.
