(San Luis Film Festival)….It is set for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
It is being held at the Cesar Chavez Cultural center in San Luis, Arizona. It will start at 6:00 pm each night. One of the featured guests will be Enrique Castillo, a native of Calexico who has appeared in Homebound, Weeds, Blood In Blood Out, NCIS and other productions. They will be premiering the film Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet, featuring the voices of Liam Neeson, Selma Hayek, John Krasinski, Frank Langella, Alford Molina and more. The film has already premiered in the Cannes Film Festival in France and at the Berlin Film Festival this year. They will honor Emilia Guiu, an actress that lived in Gadsden, Arizona for more than 30 years and was a star of the Golden Era of Mexican cinema, working with Cantinflas and Pedro Infante, among others. The three-day event is free to the public.
