Imperial woman enters plea

(Bogue enters Guilty plea)…Carly Ann Bogue was in Court Wednesday.

She had been arrested in connection with the deaths 3 horses and mistreatment of a fourth. The animals were discovered in July near Imperial. Bogue was initially charged with four counts of cruelty to an animal. This week the charge was a single count of felony cruelty to an animal. She entered a guilty plea, and was sentenced. She received 3 years formal probation, during which time she will be prohibited from owning a horse. Bogue was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service at an animal sanctuary, undergo counseling, pay restitution and court costs.
