(An issue with Operation Boo)…..At least a part of it.
It is the part that calls for convicted child molesters to place a sign on their door on Halloween. The sign would warn children away from the residence of the child molester. It has been determined that the sign requirement may be unconstitutional. Instead of going through a court battle on the issue, it was decided to remove that requirement from Operation Boo. Sex offenders will still be required to stay inside their homes on Halloween from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am, they cannot have any outside lights on, and no Halloween decorations or displays.
