(MOU’s approved)…The Board of Supervisors were presented 5 Memorandum’s of Understanding.

The five organizations were chosen to receive a portion of a $50,000 Community Recidivism Grant obtained by the County Probation Department. All five agree to perform crime reduction services to persons who have been released from prison, county jail, or a juvenile detention facility. $10,000 grants had previously been approved for the Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, Women of Virtue Empowerment Network, Sure Helpline Crisis Center, Turning Point Men’s Home, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Imperial Valley.
