Supervisors looking at a pay raise

(County Board could approve a pay increase for itself)…The Board of Supervisors meet Tuesday morning.

On the consent agenda is an item calling for a pay increase for the Board of Supervisors. The request is being made by the Homan Resources and Risk Management Department. Under the request, the Supervisors would receive a 2.5% pay increase in fiscal year 2015-2016, and another 2.5 increase in fiscal year 2016-2017. As a consent item, there may be no discussion on the request. On the action agenda, Public Administrator Norma Saikhon will ask the Supervisors to approve California Department of Aging’s fiscal year 2014-2015 mid-year adjustments, as well as a Budget Amendment Resolution. Saikhon will also ask the Board to approve an agreement with the California Department of Aging. The Board convenes at 8:30 Tuesday morning in the Board Chambers at the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro
