(Another Convicted Sex Offender arrested)…This is the 22nd in recent months
. Border Patrol agents with the El Centro Sector encountered the man about 29 miles west of the Calexico Downtown Port of Entry. They suspected he had entered the Country illegally. The suspect was arrested and transported to the El Centro Station for immigration and criminal history screening. A records check revealed the man was 27 year old Jose Raul Nicolas Jimenez, a Mexican National. They also found Nicolas had been convicted of indecent exposure in 2014 in Orange County. He had been sentenced to 24 months confinement for his conviction. The man is being held in federal custody pending further criminal prosecution.
