(Board approves new Subscription agreement)….It was requested by the Department of Social Services
. It is a subscription renewal, and costs $21,800. The agreement is between the National Council and Crime and Delinquency for Internet access to SafeMeasures County of Imperial. SafeMeasures is an Internet reporting service available through the Children’s Research Center, which is a division of the NCCD. It provides weekly child abuse/neglect metrics established by the State of California and the US Department of Human Services, to monitor the provision of services to victims of child abuse or neglect and their families. Social Services Director Peggy Price says SafeMeasure is the most widely used system in California for monitoring compliance with federal and state case practice and outcome measures. Imperial County has subscribed to SafeMeasures for the past 8 years.
