(Two surprise recognitions)…Both were at the Tuesday County Board of Supervisors meeting.

The first went to Andy Horne. The Deputy County Executive Officer was presented a plaque by the Board in recognition of his 12 years of service to the County. After 12 years, Horne has announced his retirement. Horne said he was very ready to retire and spend more time with his family. Before joining the County, Horne served as an Imperial Irrigation District Director. The 2nd plaque went to Max Castillo. He was recognized for his 50 years in the local construction business.
