More than 50 pounds of cocaine

(Cocaine worth over $500,000 seized)….Border Patrol agents made the seizure.

 They arrested a 22 year old woman, as well. The seizure occurred earlier this week at the checkpoint on Interstate 8, between Campo and Pine Valley. Agents searched a vehicle being driven by a 22 year old US citizen. The search came after a k-9 alerted to the 2008 Nissan. Agents discovered 20 bundles of cocaine weighing 51.37 pounds, worth an estimated $513,700. The cocaine was found in the vehicle’ gas tank.
