Heat Warning issued

(Excessive Heat Warning in effect)…The Warning was issued by the National Weather Service.

It will remain in effect through Thursday evening. The Weather Service says the Warning covers the lower Deserts of South Central Arizona and Southeast California, Including Yuma, Brawley, Calexico, El Centro, Blythe and other areas. According to the Warning, temperatures in the affected area will range between 111 and 115 in the afternoon. Lows at night will be in the 80’s to lower 90’s. For those who work out of doors, it is strongly suggested they take extra precautions and take several breaks in a shaded area, and they should drink plenty of liquids to stay hydrated.
