3 Fatal Injury Accidents Reported Over Holiday Weekend

(Unofficially, 3 fatal injury accidents were reported over the Holiday weekend)….There have been a handful of accidents over the long Holiday weekend. At least 3 have resulted in fatal injuries. Just before the official weekend began Wednesday, a teenaged girl suffered fatal injuries after she was crushed in the rollover of the off-road vehicle she was riding in at Wheeler and Huff Roads. In another off-road incident, a 24-year-old San Diego area resident not familiar with the terrain apparently drove into a canal and drowned. And an 84-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries after the vehicle she was in failed to yield to a fire truck near Salton Sea Beach and the vehicles collided. The fire truck was responding to a reported motorcycle accident.
