(Vehicle seized, three in custody)…Border Patrol agents responded to a suspected human trafficking call.

At around 9:30 Monday night agents from the Indio station received a call from the Border Patrol All Terrain Vehicle Unit reported a suspicious vehicle traveling through the Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range. The agents responded and found a Ford F-150. The agents stopped the vehicle by using a tire deflation device. Once the pick-up stopped, several occupants fled from the vehicle. The agents were able to arrest 3 individuals; a man and two women were taken into custody. All 3 were illegally in the country. All three were Mexican Nationals. The Border Patrol says the 3 were taken into custody as they investigate the suspected human trafficking incident. The pick-up was seized by the agents.
