(Daylight Savings Time)...It begins Sunday at 2:00 am.

What if it was always Daylight Savings Time, and we didn't fall back in November? There is an effort to make that happen. A bi-partisan bill is being prepared that would make Daylight Savings Time permanent across the nation. It is called the Sunshine Protection Act. It is co-authored by Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and Democratic Senator Ed Marky of Massachusetts. Florida, California and other states have voted to keep Daylight Savings Time year round, but it requires a change at the federal level before it goes into effect. The Senators say year-round Daylight Savings Time would bring more stability throughout the year, improving public health, public safety and mental health.
