(Border Patrol agents arrest two)...It happened earlier this week.

A 24 year old man drove a vehicle up to the Highway 86 checkpoint. There was a 16 year old female passenger in the vehicle. The vehicle and the occupants were sent to the secondary inspection area. The two were questioned as to their citizenship. After it was determined they were US citizens, agents asked the driver if they could search fis person. After receiving consent, the agents patted the man down. They discovered packages taped to his torso. The contents of the packages tested positive for methamphetamine. The meth weighed about 6 pounds with an estimated value of $14,000. The 24 year old and the teen were arrested. They were turned over to the Drug Emforcement Administration, along with the vehicle and rhe methamphetamine.
