Yuma County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a Wednesday morning homicide.

At about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, YCSO deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 5600 block of E County 5 1/2 Street. On arrival deputies located an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound. The victim has been identified as Edward Bay, 68, of Yuma. The investigation into the apparent homicide is underway and YCSO is asking that anyone who might have any information contact the Investigations Bureau.
