They will also include state and federal races and issues. On top of that, locally, three local school districts will have bond measures on the ballot. The Imperial Unified School District has Measure A. They will seek $50 million in Bonds to update classrooms and school facilities, including ag facilities, the gym and pool. The El Centro Elementary School District has Measure Y. They are seeking $37.8 million in Bonds to construct a new elementary school, replace portable classrooms with permanent ones, improve student access to computers and modern technology and update outdated classrooms and facilities. Westmorland Union Elementary School District has two measures, Measure Z and Measure W. They seek voter approval of $3,750,000 in Bonds to mernize school facilities and athletic facilities, build a gymnasium upgrade outdated heating and ventilation, as well as electrical systems and construct new classrooms.
