El Centro police are investigating a car theft.

Tuesday afternoon shortly after 1:00 p.m. a grey 2012 Chevy Malibu was taken from the 800 block of Wensley Avenue. The car was last seen heading northbound on 8th Street. The car is a 4-door sedan with a Harding School Student of the Month sticker on the rear bumper. The suspect was described as a male, approximately 50-years-old, short grey hair and wearing a black t-shirt.
