A high school student was robbed of his cellphone and earbuds.

According to El Centro police, the young man was walking to school in the area of 10th and Olive when he was approached by a man carrying a hammer. The suspect took the students cellphone and earbuds. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30's, short hair, wearing jeans and a grey shirt.
