(APCD announces No Burn Days)....They are today and Saturday.

The Air Pollution Control District says the No Burn Days are due to flight safety concerns during the Festival of Flight at NAF El Centro. Gates open at 10:00 am at NAF for the Free Festival. It will feature acrobatic air show performance by civilian and military air craft. The main event is the Navy flight demonstration team, the Blue Angels. The team is wrapping up three months of training at NAF, before launching on their 2022 Flight Demonstration tour. Saturdays event will include static displays, music, fireworks, food and beverages and more. There will also be a low frequency radio broadcast of the event for those viewing the festival from outside the Navy Base.
