The Imperial County Public Health Department updated the COVID-19 numbers on Friday morning.

So far over 106,000 doses of various COVID-19 vaccines have been administered. 43,250 individuals are fully vaccinated while 62,800 have received one dose of the vaccine. Friday's numbers showed that 127 active cases of the virus were reported with 14 of those hospitalized and 6 COVID-19 patients in ICU beds.

Vaccination clinics are continuing throughout the Imperial Valley and residents can find out where and when the clinics are scheduled and make an appointment to receive the vaccine by going on the State of California's website MyTurn.com or on the vaccinefinder.org site. According to the Imperial County Public Health Director Janette Angulo , a number of local providers are now offering walk-in vaccinations. She suggested that individuals check with their health care provider or local pharmacies.
