Get ready for some strong winds.

The National Weather Service says a slow moving weather disturbance is moving into the Imperial Valley and it will bring wind gusting up to 45 mph Tuesday and Wednesday. This unsettled weather also brings an increasing chance of precipitation starting Tuesday and continuing through Friday. Skies should clear by Saturday morning as sunny skies prevail over the weekend.

The mountains between Imperial County and San Diego will see wind , rain , fog and possibly snow starting Tuesday and continuing through Friday. Winter storm conditions are possible over the mountains with low snow levels and potential heavy snowfall. The snow and rain showers will decrease Thursday night into Friday morning but a wintery chill should remain through Friday.
