(Calexico Police investigating a reported rape).....The rape was reported by a 16 year old female.

They say she mentioned a suspect when the incident was reported. Police began searching for the 21 year old suspect. Following an extensive investigation, Fabian Acuna was located and taken into custody. The suspect is a convicted felon on active probation. In addition to the probation violation, he is now being charged with several more felonies, including unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and felon in possession of a fire arm. Police say Acuna was apparently armed during the incident. Police say the suspect was booked into county jail. They say the investigation is continuing.
