(Suspect attacks a man with a machete)....It happened last Friday in Calexico, Police responded to the scene in the 400 block of Rockwood Avenue at just after 6 pm.

The victim suffered a severe injury to his arm. He was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. The victim reportedly told police the attack was unprovoked. But, that is about all he is saying. The victim would not say what led up to the attack, nor would he give a description of the attacker or attackers. Witnesses were interviewed, but they told police they had not seen anything. Police are searching for possible video cameras that could assist them in their investigation
