(2024 Holtville Carrot Festival).....It starts February 2nd.

The initial event is the Coronation/Citizen of the Year Banquet at the Holtville Swiss Club. They will award the 2023 Citizen of the Year, Presidents award and the coronation of the 2024 Carrot Festival Queen, Princess and Jr. Princess. Doors open at 6 pm. Ticket information is available at the Holtville Chamber. The Cookery Contests begin February 7 Hosted by the Women's Club. February 8th the Carnival opens, along with the Cookery Contests. On February 9th it will be the Carrot Festival Kickoff Concert featuring Table of Five. The concert is free. There will be tacos and a beer garden. On February 10th the Carrot Festival Mile and 5 K races start at 7 am. Applications are available at the Chamber Office. The Street Fair starts at 8 am. The Traditional Carrot Festival Parade starts at 10 am. The Midway also starts at 10 am. There will be a Student Art Show at 11 am. Parade Awards will be announced at 12 noon at the Stage on Holt Avenue. The School Drumline Competition will be at the Gazebo starting at 12:30 pm. February 11th will be a Street Fair and the Carrot Carnival midway until 10 pm.
