Over 112 pounds of methamphetamine was seized at the downtown Calexico port of entry Saturday.

One hundred packages of meth were discovered in the rear quarter panels and spare tire compartment of a vehicle at the port. The 112 pounds of meth have a street value estimated at nearly $169,000. The Calexico seizure was just one of seven seizures at California ports of entry. Total value of the weekend busts was estimated at nearly $10 million.
