(A new conference this Saturday)...It will be at San Diego State University/Imperial Valley Campus.

They will inaugurate their first Lit Day Conference. It is a free event, open to the public, specifically for k-12 and college students. They will enjoy a full day of literature. The special speaker will be Reyna Grande, award winning author of the best selling memoir The Distance Between Us. Grande will conduct a Q&A session and share reading excerpts of her book where she writes about her life before and after she arrived in the United States from Mexico as an undocumented child immigrant.
